Three Generations of Family Fun at HarbourFest


Do you remember your first HarbourFest? For the Belocks, it was in 1988, and they

knew before their Hilton Head vacation was over, it wouldn’t be their last. Flash

forward thirty years and now the Belocks, their kids, and their grandchildren return to

Palmetto Dunes and Hilton Head Island for a family vacation every summer.


With white sand beaches, outdoor adventures, bikes of all shapes and sizes, tennis,

and more, there’s no shortage of family fun to be had on a Palmetto Dunes vacation,

but the highlight of the trip each summer for the past thirty years has been singing

along with Shannon Tanner, playing games with Cappy the Clown, and watching the

fireworks at HarbourFest.
